Weebly

Today and last class which was on Friday, I was assigned the task of exploring and creating a website on Weebly. Weebly is a website that lets you create your own website for free but with only limited things unless you pay money for a premium site or something like that. Google Chrome

Today I was assigned the task of finally using Google Chrome. Google Chrome is an easy to use browser that was made by Google.'cough cough'(google chrome) Anyways, this browser is a lot like other browsers but offers different things like every other browsers do to make them somewhat different. The appearance of the browser is noticeable different, extensions and apps are different but somewhat the same, and it has a nice size selection for extensions. I decided to find myself a cool them and I found this!!

This is a theme that I enjoy because of its cool properties. I also found a cool extension that is a Last.fm Scrobbler. Here it is!!:

This is the awesome scrobbler that I found for when I listen to music. Scrobblers store the data of the songs you have listened to and keeps a log about the songs you listened to and such. I hope you enjoyed this blog post. Have a nice day! And Git R' Done. Enjoi! (:

StoryJumper

Last class I was assigned the task of posting my own story through the website/program StoryJumper. Animoto

Today, I was assigned the task of exploring this website called "Animoto." Animoto is a fun to use website on which you must! sign-up. This site lets you make a slideshow video on which you can put your own music on if you have a membership which is $5. These videos if you don't have a membership go up to 30 seconds but you cannot choose your own song, it automatically selects it for you. In this program/website you can put your own pictures on the slideshow and your own music which makes it interesting. If you wish to try out this site click here. And here is my Animoto slideshow! Last Thursday I was assigned the task of exploring a few different web applications and so for that today I am supposed to write about it. One of the web applications I explored is Smore. Smore is a web application that creates pages for you on the internet that you can share for everyone to see. One last web application I explored was Tripl. Tripl is a web applicaton that allows you to explore what your friends and family have done on vacations and such. You can look at there past files of pictures and read about what they did and what they have posted on websites about it, it is a pretty well used web application that is fun to use. Firefox Personas

Today I was assigned the task of exploring add-ons and themes for the widely used "Firefox." This is easy to do and/or use. All you have to do is go to the browsers start menu and go to settings or tools and click add-ons. Then when you get there you can search what themes and/or extensions you want for your browser.

JibJab

JibJab is a fun website/program that you may use whenever you want to. This is NOT a free site, the only time something is free to do are small clips and/or free to use clips that you may customize.  This is a website/program that lets you customize small clips of songs and/or dances with pictures that you can upload and customize for the size of the head of the figures. PhotoFunia

      Today I was assigned the task of exploring the program "PhotoFunia." This is a very fun to use program where you take pictures you have or take a photo of yourself to put in different funny templates. I made many different photo things with PhotoFunia and it was interesting. Here are two examples:

These are the photofunia's that I have created during my time to do this assignment. This program is easy and fun to use. For this program you do not need to register to make your own pictures. The first thing you have to do is just search for what template you think your picture will go well on, which is pretty easy, and then upload your picture to use and then it will make the picture to your liking for you. Powtoon

      Last week I was assigned the task of making a Powtoon presentation for my blog. Powtoon is a fun and easy to use program that uses "stick art" to make your presentation. For this site you do not have to register but you can if you want to save your presentations. This is the Powtoon that I designed and created.
This is the Powtoon that I created and was easy and fun. To use this website/program all you need to do is click on this Link. 
To effectively use this program all you need to do is this, when you want to create a presentation click "dashboard" at the top of the main screen for the site. After that you can choose a template to use in order to create a certain type of presentation. There are many, many, different types of templates for certain presentations. Choose the blank one if you wish to create your own presentation and where you can select the music you want to use as your "Background" music. There are many selections for different avatars and animations that you can use to make your presentation more interesting and………awesome. Enjoi!(:

Tagul

Tagul is a free to use but a needed sign-up website for "Word Clouds."Here is my example of a word cloud that I created:

Wordle

Today I was assigned the task of exploring this program. This website/program is used to make word clouds which is very interesting. This program lets you enter your own words for the word cloud and lets you scramble it up into the word cloud and you can add as many words as you want. To use this program all you have to do is:  Go to this site; Wordle Then you click create in the middle of the screen. Once you do that all you have to do is then input your own words and it will automatically randomize/scramble the words.

Today we were assigned the task of exploring a website/program named "LooGix." LooGix is a website that lets you convert pictures into Gifs which are movies pictures. We have to have examples for this assignment which I have put below this post. There are many different types of options for making your Gif unique for example there is the explosion option for your Gif which zooms in on your picture and makes it seem like an explosion is happening. This is an example of the "Swirl" Gif option.

      So today I was given an assignment where I had to use this website called "Cool Text." This website lets you create text images that look very interesting and could be used in games, like no kidding. You can use any type of text you want, you can set the text on fire, make it pulse colors, and many other things. Also, you can change the font of the text to make it creepy or funny looking which makes the website fun to use.       The last time I was in this class we were assigned an easy day, our teacher Mrs. James had us use multiple websites that let us draw and/or watch people draw some great art, which is very interesting.

      The first website that I explored was Slimber. Click here to explore yourself:  Slimber This website lets you draw whatever you want and the website records the drawing of your picture, when you post it; it actually posts the video of your drawing and lets other people watch it. Another cool feature is that you can watch other peoples drawings on the videos that are posted after they have finished, which is fun to look and watch.

      The second and last website I wish to talk about is Flame Painter! This awesome and fun to use website click here for the link:  Flame Painter  So this website lets you make your own pictures of flames of which you may change the color of the flames. This feature is cool if you want to make an awesome background for your computer. It goes from the range of White all the way to Pink.

Today I was also assigned the task of telling you about Google Voice. Google Voice is a program that you can use to setup a phone number that can connect your home phone, your mobile phone, and even a work phone. When someone tries to call you over Google Voice it will call all of the phones that you have setup for it to call, this is helpful especially when it is for business and it would help out a lot if you have a business that you want to create and/or build. Today I was assigned the task of creating a blog about my "Flag Counter" that I put on my blog! On my Flag Counter I have done a very bad job at trying to get more flags from different countries! I only have one flag and that is obviously from the United States of America. The cool thing is, is that I have over 470 page views so far and I've only been in this class for a month now, makes me feel awesome. Haha. (: So anyways! My Flag Counter isn't very good so far, so I'll keep you guys updated if I get someone from a different country to look at my blog! Enjoy.

Today I was assigned to make avatars on different site that were posted on our teachers page. The one that interested me the most was the SouthPark Studio, in which this place lets you make your own South Park characters, and you can make South Park characters from the show. I made multiple avatars on this website/program, this program is easy to use, and it enjoyable. Here are some screenshots I took of the avatars that I made for the assignment:

    These are the avatars that I made using the program I have listed above. It is an easy to use website that doesn't require you to register an account with your email or anything. It's a simple program for just laughs.

Polleverwhere is a tool that is a program to use for creating random polls for random questions that you might want to ask. Polleverywhere

      On friday last week I was assigned to explore and/or use the program Google Hangouts. Google Hangouts is a fun and easy to use program that is a lot like the program Skype. Google Hangouts is a program for chatting and/or video calling people for conferences, just talking, and etc., This program is really fun to use if you want to call friends and/or family. To use Google Handouts all you have to do is have a gmail account and log-in to use it. Once you have a gmail account you just go to the "Google+" area of google, and add friends to your account through there. Once you have done this you can type and have a conversation with them and/or talk to them through video call and/or voice call. You could use this program for meetings or conferences at work, you could use this program for hanging out with friends while you play games, if you're bored and other things. To use the video call you have to download a plug-in otherwise it will not work for some random unknown reason. Enjoy the Blog posts from hence-forth.

I am doing this blog post over these three things that I explored earlier: Google Bookmarks, Google Earth, and last but not least Google Books.

Google Bookmarks is a type of bookmark holder on the google website that lets you add your own bookmarks just like bookmarks on your browser. This program is not as simple as just adding your own bookmarks to your browser but it lets you access your bookmarks anywhere and at anytime.













Google Earth is a program/website that we have all used at least once in our lives. This program lets you look at the world from the view of a satellite, you can zoom in, you can search places that you might want to go to, etc., This program also lets you get directions straight from the satellite depending on where you're at.





Google Books is a separate part of bogle that shows you old books that are free to read on your own spare time. This program lets you access books that aren't available to you when you are on the go, it lets you read most of the books for free, and lets you use them whenever and wherever you want. All you have to do to get to this program is to go to the google site *Google.com* and then click the button with nine squares in it and then just click more and then click "even more from google" and it will take you to a screen that shows you all the apps that google contains and lets you use free of charge (most of them anyway).

      Today I was given an assignment where I need to put more gadgets on my blog and make it more interesting. The gadgets that I found were very intriguing, I found gadgets that actually add games to your blog, clocks, countdown timers, and many other things that are very interesting. I cool gadget that you can add to your blog is the "Pac-Man" gadget; This gadget adds the original Pac-Man game to your blog for everyone to see and if they wish to do so, play. There are many gadgets available to anyone that wants them, I am pretty sure that all of them are free. The gadgets you can use number up in the hundreds, the gadgets that are available to use for instance are:

To add a Gadget all you have to do is go to the design page of your blog, and then all you have to do is search for the gadget that you actually want or just search for it in the search bar that is provided at the top right of the screen. Many of these gadgets are just used for fun or to more publicize your blog more, so that you can just get more attention if you want it.

Today for class I was assigned the task to use a site/program called symbaloo. This site and or program is a type of bookmarking site that you can use as your homepage and it will show all the sites that you have put on there as a bookmark. This website and or tool is a convenient tool to use for school, because of how once you put a bookmark for a site it never gets deleted unless you manually delete it from your "webmix." This program lets you make your own webmix on which you can customize to your liking in order to make it to your likings. Some benefits for using this bookmarking site is that when you are at school and you don't have enough time to do you work, all you have to do is go to this site and bookmark the important websites that you need. Another benefit is that you can use this anywhere, as long as you don't forget your login info; which is convenient for people who travel a lot.

Voki:
My current assignment is to use the Voki program for my blog to welcome people to it. This program uses voices that you can choose from to put on this "avatar" to make it sound cool and/or funny. The voices were pre-recorded for your own daily basis work for any type of site and/or blog. An avatar for Voki is where you can choose a pre-made picture of someone or something that will talk and/or move to the voices that you assign it to use.

You can record your own voice for the avatar to use on the site, which is totally safe and fun to use when your bored. The Voki program also has an extra part to the program called "Voki Classroom" which adds many different options to the program for you to use; I have no idea if you have to pay for this extra add-on but I think it might just be worth the cost if you will use it in class. If you do record your voice for the avatar the maximum you can record is up to 90 seconds, which is handy when you have to do assignments for different classes at school or many other things.

This site is reliable and fun to use and I recommend this program highly. This program is convenient for people doing assignments for school and other things. My overall thought about this program is that it is useful but I think that it still needs work.

How often I am on the internet/blog.

Well, the problem with the internet for me is that, I would rather not be on the internet other than talk to friends; so I am not always on unless I get comments on my blog. So if you ever want or need to talk to me, just comment on one of my posts on my blog, and I will answer as soon as I can.  ( Check out my cool picture. Hahahaha. (:
